"La Que No Podia Amar” (The One Who Couldn’t Love), is a  soap opera that tells the story of Ana Paula, a young, beautiful lady who is about to get her diploma as a nurse. She is forced to marry Rogelio Montero, her paralysed patient, in order to save her brother Miguel. Miguel causes an accident that could send him to jail for life, Rogelio offers to help him if Ana Paula agrees to marry him. She accepts the sacrifice just to help her brother, and so she marries Rogelio.Rogelio a young, wealthy man, disillusioned for being disabled has a hacienda with which he controls with ‘strong fist’ that his employees barely cough in his presence.  Ana Paula had gotten an accident in the river and she is rescued by Gustavo Durán, a handsome and good hearted engineer. They fall in love but their plans are frustrated when Gustavo has an accident with his father and Ana Paula believes he is dead.Besides getting married to a disabled man, Ana Paula has to also to deal with Rogelio’s sister, Cynthia, who has a chain of secret. Ana Paula has to deal with Cynthia’s humiliations and envy as well as manage her brother’s problems and Bruno and Rosaria’s greed. Unluckily she meets again with Gustavo, the love of her life, who she thought was dead, she is not sure if he looks at her the same since she is married. It is currently airing on Star Times STVE2 at 8pm on weekdays.
