Before I talk about how to best approach him, I must remind you that unprotected sex is a huge no-no. As long as you’ve not guaranteed that he’s monogamous (and you’re doing likewise), it is suicidal to not use a condom every single time. So, moving forward please use some protection. In terms of how to tell him the news, you just have to tell him straight. If he gave you an STD tell him so. And tell him to get tested. At the end of the day, the issue isn’t about how he judges you but rather how responsible you are. And perhaps, after both of you have received treatment, you can discuss the future.
