The official list of votes released by Fifa shows contrasting views between the coach and his goalkeeper skipper. According to the list the Serb tactician, went for eventual winner, Messi Lionel, Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo and PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the player category. In the Coach of the year category, Micho voted for Euro 2012 and World Cup winning Coach Vicente Del Bosque, Jose Mourinho and Dortmund Jurgen Klopp. While Ndoli went for the favourite Lionel Messi as his first choice, Cristiano Ronaldo and Atletico Madrid’s hit man, Radamel Falcao.In the coach of the year category, Ndoli selected Real Madrid’s Mourinho, FC Barcelona’s former coach, Pep Guardiola and Manchester United manager, Sir Ferguson Alex. In the media vote for the Player of the year, The New Times’ Bonnie Mugabe voted for clear favourite and eventual winner, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Andres Iniesta.The sports scribe voted for winner, Del Bosque, former Chelsea manager, Roberto Di Matteo and Mourinho in the Coach of the year category. In a surprising twist, Lionel Messi did not consider rival Ronaldo at all, opting for teammates Iniesta, Xavi and his Argentinean team mate Sergio Aguerro respectively.
