Gangnam Style is a Korean pop single by the South Korean musician PSY. The song talks about "the perfect girlfriend who knows when to be refined and when to get wild”. This song was released in July last year as the lead single of his sixth studio album PSY 6 Part 1.But what’s so special about this song?  Well, Gangnam Style became the first video in the history of the Internet to be viewed more than a billion times. As of January 1, 2013, the music video had been viewed over 1.1 billion times on YouTube, and it is the site’s most watched video after surpassing Justin Bieber’s Baby. In September 2012, Gangnam Style was recognised by Guinness World Records as the most "liked” video on YouTube. As the song continued to rapidly gain popularity, its signature dance moves were attempted by many notable political leaders such as the British Prime Minister David Cameron, U.S. President Barack Obama, and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, who hailed it as a "force for world peace”.
