Rwanda’s Amavubi Stars face their toughest test in their 2010 World Cup/Africa Cup preliminary qualifying campaign when they take on Morocco this afternoon at Nyamirambo.

The Amavubi squad has trained intensely for this important group eight fixture, should be prepared for the battle against the group favourites.

Amavubi Stars coach Blanko Tucak intends to stick with the team that won away from home against Ethiopia 2-1 last Sunday.

With the intention of preserving a serene atmosphere in camp, the Croatia-born coach has avoided going public over the likely changes he could make.

Boubakary Saddou is a certain omission after the Cameroonian-born defender strained a leg muscle last weekend against Ethiopia.

The Morocco game is no place for the lily-livered. There will be no room for personality, complacency or gambling.

Tucak is also expected to stick to the 4-5-1 formation that did him wonders against Ethiopia with Said Abedi Makasi playing the lone striker role.

Olivier Karekezi (captain) and Patrick Mafisango will pull the strings in the middle of the park with Haruna Niyonzima and Mbuyu Twite on the wings while Hamad Ndikumana and Ismail Nshutinamagara lead the back line.

Efforts to get a comment from Tucak about today’s game proved futile as he prefers to give interview during press conferences.

The former El Merrick and El Hilal coach introduced the system of conducting press conferences prior to big matches however; the one for today’s match had not been conducted by press time.

The Atlas Lions, who arrived on Thursday night, go into today’s game without injured midfielder Mbark Boussoufa (Anderlecht) and lethal striker Tarik Sektioui (FC Porto).
