One really embarrassing moment!

The saying goes, great talkers are great liars. Trust me it really IS true. My friends at campus are really not the type that give the best of advice or have any sensible talk, but then again, neither am I. Some weekends, we sit in the hostel, bored out of my minds and this leads to silly talk. People start bragging about how good they are with women and how they have done all there is to do with them. Afraid to be the odd man out in the house, I occasionally forge stories and trust me; they leave everyone fascinated by me. One night, it looked as though I was just going to have a peaceful time on the couch watching FIFA12. They say a thief has forty days but so does a liar. My vibe was finally put to the test when my roommate got a call at 1:30 AM from some girls that he’d met God-knows-where and demanded my presence. I, however, in an attempt to not be an utter social failure decided that I was going to stay in and go to bed. Kevin called me a sucker and went to meet the girls. I went to bed.I heard the door open and hoped that it was only Kevin. Obviously I wasn’t that lucky, and disappointment gnawed at me when my roommate came home with three girls. As I lay quietly in my bed so as not to be disturbed, my roommate opened my door and threw two of the girls on my bed. Now what was I to do? A thousand thoughts run through my head. I had never even kissed a girl in my life. What if I did and the girl said I was bad at it? You know how girls use excuses to avoid guys; well I stole one of those excuses, BUT I stole the wrong one. These girls were obviously up to getting laid, and with the panic I had at that time, I said without a thought, "I’m sorry but I’m in my period, can we do this another time?” They burst out laughing, called me a nerd and walked out. Bad news travels fast, and my piece of embarrassing information was no exception. Right about now, I’m still the topic among all my friends. What shocks them the most is the fact that I pleaded with the girls to postpone the rendezvous to some other time.
