Editor,Rape (like other forms of violence) is not gender biased. This non-patriachal factor is now recognised by Human Rights jurisprudence and International Treaties -- paving the way for the indictment and conviction of women perpetrators (who used rape as a weapon of violence) like Pauline Nyiramasuhuko (Rwanda) and Biljana Plavšic (Yugoslvia).
