The group gave the event an interesting kick-start with their stylish dance and comedy, before the seven judges took their seats. It all started with 24 models cat-walking in traditional wear - followed by African and evening wear. At around 11pm, the Blessed Family, a group of eleven dancers excited the crowd with their unique dancing techniques, before the models came in for one last time - in casual wear.Models were photographed at different modeling stages. Within a short time, the entertainment team took over, led by Alpha Rwirangira and Elion Victory.Alpha didn’t disappoint as he belted out his Mama Africa and African Swaga hits, despite the disappointing music system which frustrated the artistes and the crowd in equal measure. After all the excitement, the judges then announced the winners - Mupende and Musie. Jean Claude Ndayishimiye, the Chief Executive Officer of Rwanda Premier Model Agency, said the event will be annual. He called on the talented youth to get involved and take part in modeling, as a way of promoting the industry.
