Editor,It beats my understanding that I keep receiving texts from companies and organisations making announcements or advertising their promotions. Is this acceptable by law? If the companies want to advertise they should use the media and other channels instead of mass forwarding to people’s cell phones. Where do they get the numbers anyway?Edith
