Travelling between Rwanda and Uganda is known to surge during the festive period, thus it is absurd that bus companies have decided to strike at a time like this, going by what was published in The New Times on Tuesday.The reason for the strike must be much bigger than the reported bribery allegedly subscribed to them by Ugandan police.Moreover, if you have your house in order, why would you be required to pay a bribe of any sort?  Bus companies must make sure that their drivers and conductors are clean on the law, and have every requirement so that they are not compelled to pay any bribes to police officers as they claim.What happened this week was really uncalled for and I hope bus companies sort their issues out as soon as possible.Bright Mugisha, Kigali
