Forty out of the seventy five contestants in the Premier Models contest will on Sunday contest for the second phase of the contest. Twenty four contestants will then be picked for the final show slated for December 28 at the Expo Grounds in Gikondo, Kigali.The aspiring models are set to compete in this year’s edition of Rwanda’s Premier Model, and the winner will take home a one million cash prize and luxury prizes as Rwanda’s Premier Model. The competition consisting of twelve girls and twelve boys involves various activities including training, auditions and fitness. They are trained on how to pose for the photos by a professional photographer from Canada.The training started on November 25 at Amahoro stadium with forty contestants who were selected out of the initial seventy five aspirants. "We want to improve the modeling industry in Rwanda and this can be achieved through competition,” said Jean Claude Ndayishimiye, CEO of Premier Model Agency, the organiser of the show.  He added, "We want to encourage and build the talent of these female and male models.” The trainers include Ndayishimiye and Irene Aime Shema. Both are talented and have been in the modeling field for over 12 years. Through their experience, aspiring models are taught, so that their dreams can come true too!Premier Model Agency was founded in 2009 by a local model Ndayishimiye, to give models hope and wider exposure.
