Bank of Kigali (BK) has announced the new BK mobile app, which is set to replace the old one effective July 15. The introduction of the new app aims to provide users with an improved and smooth banking experience, focusing on enhanced convenience and faster transaction processing.
In a statement made on June 23, the bank strongly urges all customers who are currently using the old app to promptly transition to the new BK Mobile App to enjoy a seamless banking experience.
"The new BK Mobile App has been carefully designed with our customers in mind, incorporating valuable feedback and advanced features to meet their evolving banking needs,” reads part of the statement
BK's new mobile app boasts key features that prioritise an Improved User Experience and Enhanced Convenience. The app offers a user-friendly interface, ensuring effortless navigation and intuitive banking operations. Customers can now schedule payments, retrieve bank statements, and access various banking services with ease, eliminating the need for unnecessary visits to the bank's branches.
Among other key features offered is Card Management, allowing users to conveniently track their credit and prepaid card balances, manage their card preferences, and monitor card usage. This feature provides users with greater control over their financial transactions.
The platform also includes loan management functionality, which empowers customers to effectively monitor their loans. Users can easily check their loan balance, view their payment schedule, and maintain a clear understanding of their financial obligations. This feature enhances financial control and helps users stay on top of their loan-related activities.
Moreover, the new app has Biometric Authentication, which enables secure logins through biometric methods like fingerprints or facial recognition. This ensures enhanced security and convenience for users.
In addition to Biometric Authentication, the app also includes Beneficiary Management capabilities. Users can now save and manage beneficiaries effortlessly, making fund transfers swift and hassle-free. These beneficiary management features streamline the process and provide users with a seamless experience.
