The celebrated Nigerian twins, Peter and Paul Okoye, will be in the country for only their second time.Famed Ugandan musician, Dr Jose Chameleone of the Valu Valu fame will be the other entertainer at the Silver Jubille which will be celebrated under the theme, "Inclusive Governance, Prosperity and Dignity for our people”Beauty queen Knowless Butera and Jay Polly will lead a host of local artistes while DJ Bissosso is the man to help revelers dance all night. The concert which is actually free of charge will also have a fireworks display at mid night. "These past few months have seen a series of activities take place from grass root level right through to the exhibition we kicked off in Kigali on the 7th of December. It has been an exciting and reflective period. We are now gearing up to put on the biggest free concert held in recent times for the youth,” said Miko Karangwa, a committee member of the RPF Inkotanyi silver jubilee celebrations.‘We specifically want to thank them for their commitment to supporting our core values by living according to democratic principles and their never ending efforts applied towards achieving prosperity with the highest level of integrity. We have selected the most popular African artiste duo on the continent with great supporting acts to come and put on an amazing show for them,” he added.P-Square recently signed a recording deal with Akon’s label, Konvict Music and they have, according to the organisers, promised to perform their most popular tracks including recent global hits such as Beautiful Onyine featuring Rick Ross, Chop my Money featuring Akon and the current chart topper, Alingo.Peter and Paul Okoye popularly known as P-Square are identical twins from Nigeria. They’ve released five albums, Last nite (2003), Get squared (2005), Game Over (2007), Danger (2009) and The Invasion (2011). P- Square has delivered smashing live performances alongside artistes like Usher, Wayne Wonder, Sean Paul, Wyclef Jean, Rick Ross, Akon and many other international musicians.The concert slated for this Friday will take place at the Amahoro Stadium’s driving school space (just next to the Hero’s Mausoleum) and the gates open at 3pm.
