The Women Today team welcomes you to this week’s magazine. Our sole goal is to give a voice to Rwanda’s women by offering a place where their interests come first. Thereby ensuring that their achievements are celebrated, and their challenges tackled. This week, Women Today remembers one of the brightest stars Rwanda has been blessed with, Aloisea Inyumba. The late Minister of Gender and Family Promotion is someone that each and every Rwandan, both male and female, will miss. She will be missed for her grace, humility, strength, humbleness and leadership. Her mission was to ensure that each and every Rwandan child had a place to call ‘home’, surrounded by a loving family. This was her mission, and the fulfillment of it will be her legacy. To commemorate this amazing woman, Women Today is reproducing in abridged form an interview Aloisea Inyumba had with Michael Fairbanks. In it, she tells her amazing story.  Are you the kind of person to come home, straight from work and plop in front of the television to watch an interesting series? Or perhaps you are the type to sip some tea and quietly enjoy a book instead? Well, if you are, turn to page six and see the suggestions we have.
