If anything, I’m really starting to get irritated by the constant speculations regarding Jose Mourinho and where he would next set camp, but again, he is the ‘Special One’ and all I do is keep an eye on the league where the Portuguese doesn’t seem to be well-loved.Mourinho, even when he is in charge of the biggest and most successful club team in the world, Real Madrid, it doesn’t stop the media and experts from linking him to other teams, and guess what, he appears to love every bit of it.Whether it works for him or not, the self-anointed ‘Special One’ doesn’t help the situation by constantly expressing interest in leaving whatever team he is in charge of for other teams—by doing this, I find the man not only too egoistic but also too good for himself.It’s not his fault that he is always being linked with either the two Manchester teams, United and City, PSG or Chelsea, but being a top professional coach, he could do himself a big favour by playing down any speculation whether genuinely or simply out of respect for his fellow coaches at the mentioned clubs.I don’t think City’s Roberto Mancini, Chelsea’s Rafa Benitez (interim) and PSG’s Carlo Ancelotti like it when their jobs are constantly linked to a man, who also doesn’t help the situation by making himself available even when his current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu runs until 2016.The former Inter Milan coach, since joining two years ago, has had a frosty relation with his boss Florentino Perez, some of his own players, a section of Real Madrid fans as well as some sections of the Spanish press, and he has never turned down every opportunity to show it to the outside world.The latest in a series of rumours suggesting Mourinho’s time in the Spanish capital is coming to an end sooner rather than later, came in form of reports that Perez is already planning Real Madrid’s future for the next few years without the current coach.The Spanish league champions are third in La Liga, a substantial 11 points behind leaders and probably run-away champions Barcelona, and only finished second in their Champions League group, behind Germany champions Borussia Dortmund.Mourinho has never run out his contract at all clubs he has coached, and every indication point to the fact he won’t start learning to stick around one team for a sustained period of time at Real Madrid, like all great coaches do, and in doing this he misses the opportunity to be regarded as one of the greatest coaches ever.
