Editor, I am very pleased to share with your esteemed readers that the Fortis Hospital, Mulund, a world class, super specialty facility of the Fortis Health Care Group, completed the second successful kidney transplant surgery on Rwandans.We thank all your readers for their prayers and good wishes. Desire, who received a kidney donated by his father, is now well on the road to complete recovery and will return back to Rwanda soon.The Rwandan patients are all praise for the entire medical, nursing and administrative teams at Fortis who have ensured that at every stage, they were very well looked after and this major surgery was carried out to perfection.We solicit your continued prayers and good wishes for our Rwandan brothers, Andrew and Edson, who are now preparing for kidney transplant surgery.
