The Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) has committed itself to promote the principles of good governance and service delivery in the districts of the Northern Province under a new deal signed with the province on Tuesday.
The Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) has committed itself to promote the principles of good governance and service delivery in the districts of the Northern Province under a new deal signed with the province on Tuesday.The memorandum was signed in Kigali by the RGB Chief Executive Officer Prof. Anastase Shyaka and provincial Governor Aimé Bosenibamwe.Under the agreement, the RGB will also help implement Mobile School of Governance (MSG) in districts of the Northern Province aimed at poverty alleviation and sustainable development in line with Economic development and poverty reduction strategy (EDPRS).Shyaka said; "Our responsibility is to promote the principles of good governance and decentralisation through monitoring the practices of good governance in political, public and private institutions.”"One of our missions is to provide expertise to facilitate districts in the implementation of local governance monitoring system (LGMS). And providing technical and financial support to districts in relation to LGMS implementation,” he added.
