According to Jordan Sparks’ song, One Step at a Time, there is no need to rush through life, things will happen when they are supposed to happen. Step by step, you can achieve your desired goals and dreams, discover your true purpose in life and above all, make a better place, not just for you, but other people too.
According to Jordan Sparks’ song, One Step at a Time, there is no need to rush through life, things will happen when they are supposed to happen. Step by step, you can achieve your desired goals and dreams, discover your true purpose in life and above all, make a better place, not just for you, but other people too. Different people, mostly parents, teachers, mentors and even friends, encourage us to aim higher and whereas that is good, they don’t mean rise before our time. Some people are lucky and succeed in fields they never even dreamed they would be in, but too much ambition can be a bad thing, especially when you make things like money or fame a priority. Ambition can be a virtue when it drives you to excel, but not when it threatens to tear you apart. Most teens are blinded by the lifestyle of their favorite celebrities. What you need to know is that there is a price to pay for that kind of luxury. They too (celebrities) get caught up in all the glitz and glamour and if you do not have your feet firmly screwed to the ground, that kind of fame can be disastrous. Ask yourself, how did this person get to this point? Did they build a strong foundation for their achievements? Or is it simply nothing more than making all the money they can? Some artists have strongly cemented their reputation as one hit wonders. Every country in every corner of the world sang along to the song and most phones were proud to call it their caller tune. Take Korean superstar PSY, for example. His ‘Gangnam Style’ song is now officially the most watched video on YouTube in the network’s history! Is he the type that takes his career seriously and wants to inspire young women and men? Maybe…maybe not.The point is, people like PSY, who come out of nowhere, most likely didn’t build their lives one step at a time and that is what leads to their career decline. We need to first construct the way to our goals, then climb up one foot at a time and not just fly there – that is a strongest foundation, the one no man or even Mother Nature can break - the foundation that starts from the roots; the one we planted, the one we dreamed and the one we vowed to fulfill.Do not be blinded by the highlights of material success but rather build yourself as an honest, noble, hardworking, determined, positive thinking and helpful individual. Believe me, all the success in the world will never be worth anything if the most important virtues are nonexistent.
