ARIEL WAYZ who is among the best female artistes in Rwanda has announced plans to release her second extended play (EP) this month.
She made the announcement on Monday on all her social media platforms noting that she’s cooking something big for her fans to be released on her birthday, September 9.
"My second EP touch the sky is coming out very soon! This one is very special, can’t wait to share it with y’all,” reads Ariel Wayz’s tweet.
This comes after the upcoming female artiste released a series of impressive singles, from ‘Demo’ to ‘Uno’, as well as her latest EP, ‘Love and Lust’, which was produced by top producers in the country including Kenny pro, Davydenko among others.
Speaking to The New Times about the upcoming project, Ariel said that she is doing final touches on the EP which is produced in different genres of music such as drill, Trap, Afrobeat and R&B.
She further noted that the EP holds six tracks namely, ‘Mpaka,’ ‘You Should Know,’ ‘F.U,’ ‘TTS,’ ‘Far From Me,’ and ‘Bad.’
"Touch The Sky’ means a lot to me. It’s an experience of my musical journey that I want to share with my fans. It has only bangers,” she said.
Since she started making music as a solo artiste, Ariel Ways have been regarded as one of the most gifted artistes in Rwanda.
She rose to prominence after releasing her hit song dubbed ‘Away’ that featured her ex-boyfriend Juno Kizigenza, that generated over a million views within one month on different streaming platforms.
She’s currently trending after dropping a drill banger dubbed ‘Demo’ which features renowned artistes including Kivumbi King and Bruce The 1st.
