Four Rwanda Fifa referees have been named to handle the Lesotho 2010 World/Africa Cup home qualifier against Ghana due this weekend at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein, South Africa.

They include centre referee Michelle Gasigwa, assistants Atanase Nkubito and Desire Bamporiki as well as Issa Kagabo who will act as a fourth official. The four referees were picked by the local football body, Ferwafa on Fifa’s request.

According to Ferwafa, these referees are set to be assessed before the world football body picks the thirty two referees who will officiate at both 2010 World and Africa Cup due in South Africa and Angola respectively.

Crocodiles of Lesotho will be welcoming the Black Stars of Ghana to their first trip to Southern Africa in three years in a Group Five game.

Meanwhile, Ntagungira with South African trio of Damon Jerome Kelyvn, Molefe Tshotleho and Aldrin Ncobo Andile have been lined up to officiate Burundi’s home game against Tunisia.

Ntagungira remains the only Rwandan referee to have officiated at the African Nations Cup, the World Cup and the Asian Cup.
