In partnership with the Rwanda Volleyball Federation (FRVB), Imbuto Foundation has pumped Rwf17 million into the competition that will be played in different districts across the country.The tournament is being organised to raise malaria awareness campaign under the theme ‘Protect yourself from malaria by sleeping under the long-lasting treated mosquito net every night’.Today in men’s category round robin matches, National University of Rwanda starts with Kigali Institute of Education (KIE); KIE again plays with EWSA, while NUR face EWSA. And in the women’s category, Ruhango meets Star V. in the first match and later Star V. plays against Muhanga before Ruhango takes on Muhanga. One team will qualify for semi finals due Nov. 25.In February this year, Imbuto Foundation and the Rwanda Volleyball Federation joined hands to undertake malaria prevention awareness campaigns.
