Editor,I refer to your article in The New Times of November, 13, titled ‘Discovering Rwanda’s holy village.’Rwanda is indeed blessed to have "Kibeho”, where religious tourism can be developed, to give a great boost to the economy.I must confess , that possibly due to lack of sufficient awareness about this holy place, coupled with lack of suitable accommodation available at Kibeho, my visits to your beautiful country have , so far, not included this holy village. However, it would be my endeavor to ensure not just a visit to Kibeho whenever I am in Rwanda, but more importantly, to work closely with district mayor, François Habitegeko and explore all possible avenues of developing religious tourism there.Indian pilgrims travel in thousands to Lourdes in France and Fatima in Portugal. Why not to Kibeho in this beautiful land of a thousand hills and a million smiles? This will be one of my ‘resolutions’ for the New Year!Clarence Fernandes, India
