Dear editor,
I would like to urge Jaguar Coaches Company to ensure that each and every bus that intends to travel has the necessary documentation.
On 23rd May I happened to travel with the 7:30am Jaguar bus to Kampala, Uganda. Despite the increasing competition, I was surprised when they wasted our time.
Having successfully crossed the border on time, passengers were forced to lose over an hour or so between Ruhama and Ntungamo, simply because we were waiting to exchange seats with the bus from Kampala.
As a matter of fact, instead of driving to Kampala, the bus moved in the opposite direction claiming to be looking for the Kampala bus that had parked somewhere along the way.
The bus conductor proudly stated that we needed to exchange seats with travelers from Kampala simply because the bus from Kampala does not have the necessary credentials to proceed to Kigali.
Jaguar managers should know that passengers book tickets according to the times they would prefer to arrive at the intended destinations. Therefore the bus company should improve its services by considering the time factor.
