AFTER winning the national league and the Carre d’As Cup, APR Volleyball Club coach Sammy Mulinge wants to add the Malaria Cup to wrap up a treble for the season.APR kicked off their daily drills on Thursday at Amahoro Indoor Stadium ahead of the tournament, which is scheduled to run from November 17 to December 15.According to coach Mulinge, early preparations is the only way his team will be able to achieve their target of winning the tournament.He said, "We want to win the tournament and the only way to put ourselves in a good position to achieve that is to prepare well.” The Kenyan trainer is keen to add the Malaria Cup to the league title and Carre d’As Cup. The tournament which is being organised to fight malaria in the country is sponsored by Imbuto Foundation. Imbuto Foundation has pumped Rwf17m for the tournament which will be held in four Districts; Bugesera, Nyanza, Ngoma and Gasabo.The first phase of group stages will be in Nyanza on November 17, Bugesera will host second phase on the 18th, Rubavu will host third phase on the 25th. Ngoma will stage the semi finals, and the finals will be held in Gasabo on December 5.
