Local Dstv agents Tele 10, on Monday rewarded Patricia Nyiranzabanterura of Ruhengeri, Northern Province for predicting that Manchester United would beat Chelsea in the final of this year’s Uefa Champions League.
The primary school teacher was the lucky one among 40 entrants that predicted the 1-1 score line, however; none of them predicted the game would be settled on penalty kicks.
Before receiving a full Dstv package at a small function held at Tele 10 offices in Kigali, Nyiranzabanterura who was accompanied by her 19-year-old son admitted she was surprised to be lucky winner.
"I love football but because of my work (teaching), I get little time to follow it all the time.
"When I received a message from Tele 10 about the promotion, I could not understand so I told my son and about and we replied with our prediction,” she noted.
For the two-day promotion which was organized by Tele 10 and Expand Media, ran between May 19 and 20 yet organizers managed to receive up to 10.000 sms and 3000 e-mails.
The function was attended by Tele 10 General Manager Immy Nyagahene, Operations Manager Pacifique Barihuta as well as Keza Bunyeyezi and Tupochela Mtila who represented Expand Media.
