CYNTHIA UMURUNGI GINTY

WASHINGTON EBANGITThe award-winning Ugandan beat-maker has produced chart-topping songs for an enviable number of urban artistes across the East African spectrum and beyond. A singer himself, Washington is also a music director, producer and instrumentalist. With his vast production experience, Washington brings to the competition that much-needed East African perspective.HERVE KIMENYI He has been touted as the best-rounded on the judging panel. Kimenyi has amassed a huge following in Kigali as an actor and stand-up comedian. He hosts Comedy Nights at the Ishyo Theater Hall on Monday nights. He started his artistic life as a dancer with a hip hop outfit called Cool Family.MAKEDA MAHADEO She hosts "The Switch” on Contact FM, is a disc jockey, (one of the very few female spinners in Rwanda), and also a member of the K-Team. Makeda is a solidarity ambassador in Sold’Africa, a group of young people aiding vulnerable patients in Kigali hospitals.
