FOR the uninitiated, Dada Cross is a Rwandan hip hop artiste and actress based in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA. Warambabaje (You Hurt Me) is taken off her forthcoming maiden full-length album which, according to the singer, will be released pretty soon. In this song, Dada seems to be venting tons of anger. Though she strongly denies it, listening to the song, one can’t help but feel the hurt and frustration in her tone, especially when she’s doing the rap part. The song rants at an ex-boyfriend whom she gave her everything but who, in return, "treated me like trash.” She swallowed her pride and moved on. On trying to woe her back, the singer tells her ex, "Losing you is the best thing that has ever happened to me, for now I have someone who really deserves my love.”
