Editor,THE debate about “foreigners” in our national basketball team is a false debate. The real debate is if the leadership of the federation is mature enough to have a national strategy of talent hunt and capacity building.

There is nothing like foreigners in a Global World and you need to grow your own flowers at home. Being in touch with the globe gives us exposure and experience, and as Rwandans, we need to keep thinking in an "inclusive” way. But we need to get our act together. Don’t tell me "stop the foreigners!”Rather tell me what you are going to do!Albcontact, Kigali-----------------------------------------------Editor,ALBCONTACT’s comment is the most spot on comment. I have read in the last many months! He is very right about "There no foreigners in a Global World”. We are seeing this in the very noble acts of our government of Rwanda; the President of the Republic himself is a Global mentality smart person! It is worrying to have people who still think of exclusive practices. Certainly, they don’t even realise they are being exclusive. Can someone help our nation build on the positives we have? Include everyone; make them Rwandans instead of crying ‘oh the fortune they have cost us!David R., Kimironko(Response to the article about ‘No more Americans on basketball team’ published on Wednesday)
