Fifa friendly matchNov. 14Rwanda vs NamibiaBRAVE WARRIORS’ prominent midfielder Manfred Starke is a major absentee in Coach Bernard Kaanjuka’s squad which will face Amavubi in a second leg Fifa international friendly match due in Kigali on Wednesday.The Hansa Rostock midfielder who was the man of the match in the first match held in Windhoek on October 14 is out of the upcoming match to concentrate on his club engagements.Starke was the standout player for the Brave Warriors in the match against Rwanda, which saw him make his international debut. Starke, tormented Amavubi’s defence and it was Ndoli who stood up to him.Menawhile, Kaanjuka announced an 18-man team consisting of foreign and home-based players to play Amavubi. Shipahu, one of the more established forwards of the team, was also left out of the travelling team. Veteran forward Henrico Botes, who missed that first leg through injury, is fit and is likely to lead the line for the Warriors.Namibia will depart for Johannesburg on November 12 and are expected to arrive in Kigali on the same day.Kaanjuka added that he expects Amavubi to present a sterner given that they play at home, but he is confident his team can handle the task.
