Dear Its a Guy Thing,My friends always tease me about "babying” my boyfriend. They claim I spoil him too much. Personally, I don’t  do. I enjoy making dinners for him and helping him out whenever he asks. He’s a good guy and deserves it. But am I setting myself up to be taken for granted?Benita---------------------------------Dear Benita,I personally LOVE to be coddled. Maybe it’s because being coddled reminds us of our first love, our mothers. Or maybe, it’s because it makes us feel loved and appreciated. Either way, there is no man in his right mind who doesn’t love being coddled by his significant other. So, there is absolutely nothing with treating him well. In fact, I don’t see why you shouldn’t. Aren’t you the same person who calls him a ‘good guy’? I think the only problem that would arise is if he didn’t do the same for you. Do you feel like he doesn’t care for you enough? If that is happening, demand better treatment. If you have a question, contact me at itsaguything@newtimes.co.rw
