Editor,The population of the East African countries is increasing, contrary to the land size. The Integrated Soil Fertility Management (ISFM) should be integrated within the district agricultural extension programmes. The agricultural policy implementers of the East African countries should lobby for more funding to make agriculture more sustainable.
