Ganza to direct Nigerian star’s new video

U.S-based Rwandan video producer Didier Ganza is set to direct the video of multi-award winning Hip-hop artiste M.I, of the ‘Crowd Mentality’ fame.

U.S-based Rwandan video producer Didier Ganza is set to direct the video of multi-award winning Hip-hop artiste M.I, of the ‘Crowd Mentality’ fame.The video is of the song, Export, from the 25-year-old’s third album, Illegal Music 2. It features Nigerian rapper Young6ix.M.I, born Jude Abaga, is a Nigerian Hip-hop artiste. The singer has won several awards including the MTV Africa Music Awards 2009 and was nominated for BET 2010 Awards for the Best International Act Category. "For quite some time, I have studied and concentrated on music video business and I think I’m doing well because I’ve started to attract big names in the music industry,” Ganza told The New Times.Ganza recently directed Tusker Project Fame Season three winner Alpha Rwirangira’s latest video dubbed, African swagger-featuring Rah P.Born and raised in Rwanda, the budding music producer left the country for America in 2009 to study video and photography. He has now completed his studies and is establishing himself as a professional video director.Apart from working with Alpha and M.I, the producer is currently working with Hoodwink, an upcoming rapper in the U.S, on his Pineapple Express. Ganza is the president of SO Africa Entertainment, a group of artistic individuals, graphic designers, cinematographers, rappers and singers based in the U.S and across the world. "Our mission is to put African artistes on the international map by providing all the tools necessary for them to succeed.”  "We want to inspire African youth to dare dream because till this very date being born in Africa and living there, pushes you to limit yourself on things you might achieve in life,” said Ganza."As a team, we use music to spread positive thoughts across the world,” he added.
