Youngster Elisa Mwizerwa has committed his future to Rwandan side Sunrise FC after signing a two-year contract extension with the club.
The 20-year-old right –back’s initial contract was expected to expire on June 30 but both parties agreed to a new two-year deal which will keep him at the Nyagatare-based club until June 2025.

"My target is to cement a position in the team and play as many games at the top level which I know I can," Mwizerwa told Times Sport.
"With hard work, I can also get a national team call up because that is my dream as well."

The Sunrise starlet, who is also a student at the University of Rwanda, was signed by former Sunrise coach Moses Basena during the 2019/2020 season when he spotted him in a friendly game.
