After the heights of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations in 2004, the senior national team, The Amavubi Stars, have regressed tremendously.  Presently they are ranked 124 in the world. While the junior football teams have tasted moderate success, Society Magazines’ Pelagie Mbabazi & Agnes Bateta asked people on the street if the senior national team is worth the trouble."Scrapping the national team is not an option because it may create more problems instead.
