Police Fc have second half substitute, Jacques Tuyisenge, and Innocent Habyarimana to thank for the two second half goals (on 46 and 70 minutes) which earned them maximum points against SC Kiyovu. Police got off from Sunday’s disappointing loss against Rayon Sport to end Kiyovu’s unbeaten run in the national football league yesterday at Amahoro stadium.SC Kiyovu, who were eager to maintain their consistency, saw their five match unbeaten run brought to an end when Habyarimana dribbled past Aimable Niyiliza and Alexis Ngirimana to connect a short pass to Tuyisenge, who shot past Ugandan custodian Batte Shamiru, to score the opening goal.Tuyisenge, who came in for Amani Uwilingiyimana, put the game beyond the Greens reach when he turned provider to Habyarimana who tapped it past defender Ngilimana and Shamiru.Despite the win, Police remain in the fifth place with 11 points while SC Kiyovu lead the league standings with 15 points.  Elsewhere, Musanze continued their impressive start to this season with a 2-0 victory over Amagaju in Nyamagabe to move within one point of Kiyovu. APR’s lukewarm start to the season continued after they were held to a 1-all draw by Espoir in Rusizi.APR dropped to third position where they are tied on 12 points with AS Kigali. Marines moved up one slot from the bottom after securing their first win of the season following a 1-0 victory over Isonga.Elsewhere, Mukura defeated Rayon Sport 2-1 at Kamena, while AS Kigali thrashed Muhanga 2-0.Etincelles, who lost 0-2 to La Jeunesse at Mumena, lie bottom of the table with one point.
