R&B Gospel artiste Bobo Bonfils Mutabazi is set to launch his debut album, “Yesu ni wowe” on November 25 at Sports View Hotel in Remera.
R&B Gospel artiste Bobo Bonfils Mutabazi is set to launch his debut album, "Yesu ni wowe” on November 25 at Sports View Hotel in Remera.In an interview with The New Times, Mutabazi said the album is an acknowledgement and a celebration of the Christian walk and believing that Jesus Christ is our savior. "This album is a testament that Jesus Christ is our savior and that, as Christians, we are on a road that leads us to perfection. It doesn’t happen overnight and there will be stumbling blocks along the way,” Mutabazi is quoted as saying. "But as long as we have Jesus, that is enough assurance and encouragement for us to continue our journey.” "Yesu ni wowe” will come with eight tracks, with one video clip. "The album features are one video for the "Mwuka wera” song, but preparations for shooting videos for the rest of the songs are underway and, they will be launched sometime next year,” said Mutabazi. The gospel concert will start at 3p.m and end at 10p.m. Entrance fee (ordinary section) will be Rwf2000 and Rwf5000 (for VIPs). Tickets will be available at the entrance on the same day.The eight-hour show will feature some of the biggest names on the local gospel music scene, including Dominique Nic, Simon Kabera, Theo Uwiringiyimana, a.k.a Bosebabireba, Jimmy, Bright and The Blessing Family. The 25-year-old is famous for his tracks such as, ‘Mwuka wera”, "Waranyuze” and "Uri Alpha”.
