Editor,I was delighted to read, in your esteemed newspaper an article titled ‘Rwanda adds two new planes to its fleet’ which appeared in The Sunday Times, October, 21.Air connectivity, today, is of vital importance in the economic development of any country. It is very encouraging to see how Rwanda’s national carrier constantly rejuvenates its fleet, as it has done now, by adding two new aircrafts from Bombardier Aerospace of Canada.Efficient handling of aircrafts and seat capacities are the hallmarks of any successful airline and RwandAir has cleverly mastered the art of doing just that. The purchase by RwandAir gives this great nation yet another feather in her cap, of being the first country in Eastern Africa, whose national carrier will operate CRJ900 aircraft in the region.Yes, RwandAir will continue to keep the country’s flag flying high!
