Shooting to fame in the quagmire that is today’s music industry is one this thing, but staying afloat is quite another. That is why, in a bid to remain relevant, singer Eric Senderi has decided to take his music to the rural population. "This (music) is a game. Whenever your opponent discovers your trick, you must look for other tactics to remain on top,” Senderi told The Sunday Times. The singer said he is now leaving Kigali for his opponents and now wants to concentrate on the rural population. He plans to start off by organising upcountry concerts and performing on market days. "You see, these (market days) are the days when people in rural areas take off time to have fun,” he says.
