However, to my surprise, the buffet that went for Rwf2500, a soft drink inclusive, was the best I had in a long time. The mashed bananas (umunyige) prepared in banana leaves, yams, sweet potatoes and cassava roots, were well prepared and their fresh juice was also fine.Ndara is a cozy nook – a kind of place ideal to eat from during the lunch time rush hour. It’s also a good stop-over if you want to grab a quick bite, or rest while you take something cold to quench your thirst. However, it can get busy especially during lunch time as most people from the surrounding banks and other offices nearby storm the place for lunch. But you’ll be impressed by their waiters and waitress who are always smartly dressed and attentive. Jean Claude, the manager of the restaurant, hangs around to make sure all customers are well cared for. Staff: Warm &friendly The good: Tasty food, low pricesThe bad: Can get a little crowded during lunch timeToilets: sparkling clean
