The Senegalese legend Youssou N'Dour thrills the Kwita Izina Gala Night, celebrating the 18th gorilla naming ceremony during which 20 newborn gorillas and one new family were named in Kinigi, Musanze District, on Friday, September 2.
The colourful concert was graced by President Kagame and First Lady, Jeannette Kagame at Intare Conference Arena, on Sunday, September 4. The concert was attended by hundreds of local and international revelers. Among them, Football icon Didier Drogba and Kaddu Sebunya, the Chief Executive Officer of African Wildlife Foundation who were also among namers of baby gorillas on Friday.
The concert was organized as part of celebrating the 18th gorilla naming ceremony during which 20 newborn gorillas were named in Kinigi, Musanze District, on Friday.
