A commemorative music gig was held in Zimbabwe on Sunday to remember the late Tongai "Dhewa” Moyo, who died on October 15 last year. The gig also coincided with the unveiling of the tombstone at Sesombe, Zhombe, where the late Dhewa was laid to rest, marking one year after his death. The brief ceremony was attended by family, friends and music promoters among them Partson Chimbodza. After the unveiling of the tombstone, the crowd had lunch, thanks to Patrick Mnangagwa, brother to Defence Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa, who donated foodstuffs as part of his pledge to assist the Moyo family. So popular was Dhewa that the gig drew a huge crowd including some fans who came from as far as Harare and Gweru.Even the heavy rains that pounded Kwekwe during the night did not deter fans from enjoying themselves.
