As women, how much time, money, and conversation do we spend on our skin? I don’t think a day has passed where I or friends haven’t said, “My skin is soooo bad” or “My face is clearing up!” Products abound as one constantly try to find the right regiment for themselves.

Infomercials swear perfection and pharmacy stack skin products miles high. But, sometimes the most frustrating of issues can be very simple. There’s quite a few ways to improve your skin without stressing (and definitely don’t do that!). Water - drinking 8 glasses of water every day is of utmost importance when it comes not only to health, but to your skin. It cleanses and rejuvenates in the most natural of ways. Sleep - without enough shut eye, your skin may become sallow and grey. No good! Make sure to keep a routine with your sleep in order to get your body’s best response. 7-8 hours are key for most.Diet - fruits and veggies are the winners here (but aren’t they always)? Loading your diet with vitamin rich foods like oats, avocados, and blueberries will deter any pimple. Concentrate on getting enough vitamins A and E for cleansing, and vitamins D and A for cell rejuvenation (which will keep skin moist and smooth). Exercise - a routine exercise causes you to sweat and thus cleanses your skin. Don’t have time? Hate working out? A simple, brisk, 20 minute walk 3-4 times a week is enough to start any engine.
