AFTER losing the first leg game 1-0, Richard Tardy is tirelessly working hard with his team to ensure a win against Botswana in the second leg of the second round qualifier for the 10th Africa U-17 Championships due on Saturday at Amahoro stadium.Tardy told Times Sport yesterday, "We could have drawn or won but we missed good scoring chances. In football you can dominate but when you don’t score, it (domination) counts to nothing. Goals win matches.”"Botswana will come to Kigali in a confident mood, especially after winning the first leg, but I hope we will do our best to put pressure on them in-front of our fans. We must score and make sure we don’t concede,”"We have goal scoring problems with our national teams but we must work hard to improve in that particular area. Nonetheless, we need to be confident that the striker will find their scoring instinct on Saturday if we are to qualify for the next round,” the Frenchman told Times Sport.He added, "I am confident we will beat Botswana in Kigali. We’re working on our striking force, and I believe we can score the two goals we need,” added Tardy, whose team needs two clean goals against the Young Zebras to advance to the next round.The Junior Wasps suffered a 1-0 loss in the first leg clash played last Friday at the Molepolole Sports Complex thanks to Allan Ndodore’s second half goal.The winner over the two-legged qualifier will face the winner between Sudan and Algeria in the final qualifying leg due later this year. Fourteen countries will qualify for the finals in Morocco next year.
