The national football team’s coach Tucak Blanko has moved quickly to rubbish reports that he is not at talking terms with his paymasters at the local football’s governing body, Ferwafa.

Responding to media reports that the Croat had fallen out with Ferwafa, Blanko said that everything needed for a coach to prepare a national ahead of any continental qualifier has been fulfilled by Ferwafa.

"Ferwafa’s lone role of availing all national football players has been accomplished and their work has been done," Blanko said on Thursday during a press conference held at Ferwafa head quarters, Remera.

Earlier in his tenure, several players had fallen out with coach citing lack of respect to the team as the major cause of the fall out.

Initially, Blanko said that none of Rwandan players was good, a feat which forced the local body to summon their only professional players.

After losing 0-4 away and playing a 1-all goalless draw to Sudan in the inaugural Africa Nations Championship, the Croat admitted poor football talent in Rwanda.

Ferwafa’s President Brig. Gen Jean Bosco Kazura also echoed the same words saying that the federation is at par with the coach’s managerial methods.

"There is no rift between as and the coach, his methods are only misunderstood" said Kazura.

The team which has been under intensive training for 18 days prior to today’s game.

Rwanda’s next qualifying campaign is away to Addis Ababa when the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia host their counterparts on June 7.

Rwanda is expected to host the Morocco a week later before playing the Atlas Lions in a return leg on June 21. On September 7, the Wasps head to Nouakchott for the second leg against Mauritania before winding up their campaign with a home game against Ethiopia on October 12.

Rwanda failed to go past the preliminary stages of the 2006 Africa Nations Cup qualifier whose finals were held in Ghana early this year.

It finished third in group five with six points secured in home victories against Liberia and Equatorial Guinea respectively.
