Another way to put this very useful quote is, "Ready, Fire, Aim!” Not to say that you go off and start making decisions without any forethought, but better to take action than sit around waiting for something to happen. You have choices…Wait for OpportunityGenerally speaking, there are two ways to approach life.  You can be passive.  You can sit back and wait for something great to come your way.  You can rely on luck and knowing how to spot opportunities when they fall your way.  The truth is that you may experience luck and have some success.  After all, some people may not even realise there are favourable circumstances right in front of their faces.Or Create an OpportunityBeing passive is no fun.  Take action and make your own luck.  Have you ever noticed that the most successful people seem to have a certain curiosity about life?  It’s because they’re active.  They’re actively searching for new questions and new answers.  They’re actively looking at things from as many angles as possible.  They’re engaged in their surroundings and they know how to poke and prod an opportunity out of thin air.Hope for the BestYou may be endlessly waiting to start up a conversation with a new crush.  You may be standing in the outfield with your glove in the air just hoping for the ball to get to you.  Either way, you’re being an observer in your own life.Or Encourage ActionDon’t waste any time thinking about what your crush thinks of you.  Walk up and introduce yourself.  Don’t stand in the outfield.  See where that ball is headed and run.  Dive for it!  Don’t passively observe.  You shouldn’t be enjoying the subtle sounds of the harmony of your life’s soundtrack.  You should be conducting your own life’s orchestra.Be Content: Some people are easily satisfied.  They are satisfied by sitting back and letting things unfold as they may.  The thing is that you could be waiting a long time for the hot iron.   Others are not really satisfied at all.  They just feel powerless to try and turn their surroundings into opportunities. Like I said on my earlier article, you can as well change your challenges to assets.Or Be InspireWhile there is much joy to be heard from lives little pleasures, many entrepreneurial people are not so easily satisfied.  They know that the greatest satisfaction comes from solving challenges, personal growth, and inspiring others.  They are not afraid to shake things up to see if something valuable or fun may be conjured into existence.Let Your Business Have Growth Don’t wait for success to find its way to you.  Don’t wait for "conditions” to be perfect before making any move.  You’ve got to be willing to fight even when conditions don’t seem optimal.  A great chess player does not leave his pieces motionless and wait for his opponent to make a mistake.  He creates his own conditions from the space around him.Or Grow Your BusinessGrow your business and brand from the inside out.  Your ideals should be able to shine through your actions.  If you approach life with clarity, curiosity, and will to create your own opportunities, your business will share those same characteristics. The world is full of people waiting for someone to take action.  Don’t be one of life’s bystanders.  Be one of its actors.Lewis Ndichu is a young entrepreneur and founder of Easy Goal Entrepreneurs Networks
