Singer Rafiki Mazimpaka says he is now fit and ready for any performance, after undergoing "excellent treatment”. The Choga Afrobeat star recently sustained serious injures in an accident that occurred during his performance at Kagarama Secondary School in Kicukiro District."I am from the hospital and I feel strong. I believe I am able to perform now,” Mazimpaka told The Sunday Times, adding that he will complete his treatment next week.In a concert that saw Kagarama contributing Rwf3.8m towards Agaciro Development Fund (AgDF), Rafiki, with his great and energetic performance, was cut by a running electric fan as he was getting back to the stage after interacting with excited students.Rumours had been circulating that Rafiki would lose his sight after it emerged that the eyes could have been affected. However, the singer told The Sunday Times yesterday that his eyes were not affected."Yes, I was hurt but the eyes did not get any internal damage; I have not lost sight and my doctor said the effect can not lead to sight loss,” he said. He added that when given the chance, he would perform at today`s Youth Artistes Agaciro Concert.
