The first ever talent search in Rwanda, DundaStar Talent Search 2012, is moving at high speed. Auditions will be held in the three Kigali districts of Gasabo, Nyarugenge and Kicukiro, with the first audition scheduled to take place on November 10 at the New Papyrus Restaurant and Club in Kimihurura. DundaStar Talent Search’s Marc Gwamaka has confirmed that plans are at an advanced stage to launch the reality music competition."Rwanda is endowed with talent that we need to showcase it to the world,” said Marc Gwamaka of DundaStar Talent Search. "All Rwandans need to give confidence to their young people and make them know that they can make it in anything they set their minds to.”DundaStar is pleased to launch the talent search and provide an opportunity to young talented musicians and dancers to get onstage and try their talent."The Talent Search is for Rwanda, organised by Rwandans to turn dreams into reality. We shall capture every moment of the talent search and it will be aired on RTV every week from the auditions to the grand finale, as we turn ordinary Rwandans into Superstars,” he added. Everyone is now anxiously looking forward to seeing the very talented Rwandan rising stars. The question is who will emerge the winner of DundaStar Talent Search 2012? And the answer is … it’s anyone’s guess.The Talent Search will feature a boot camp, ‘DundaStar Talent Studio’. The talents, who will make it through the auditions and qualifiers stages, will have the opportunity to be trained by professional musicians and dance choreographers. The Talent Studio activities will be part of the reality TV show. The show will be highly interactive with the public voting who stays and who leaves the talent studio through SMS.Honors and acknowledgements will go to the winners both in the singing and dancing categories.
