SaturdayNamibia vs. RwandaAMAVUBI have the ability to pull a convincing performance against Namibia in the FIFA international friendly match which will be played on Saturday at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek. These are the thoughts of youthful defender Emery Bayisenge, who at 18, is captain of the U-20 side and is establishing himself in the senior national team. The APR youngster is expected to line-up alongside Ismail Nshutiyamagara in the Amavubi central defense against the Southern African team."We have prepared well for this game and I hope everyone in the team is ready for the challenge. The coach has given us trust and the only way we can pay him back is to win in Namibia,” the former Isonga FC captain told Times Sport yesterday before the team’s departure.Amavubi will be without their professional players but Bayisenge doesn’t seem bothered. He said, "Even without professional players, I believe we can put up a good performance and possibly get a positive result.” On Saturday, coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojovic will assemble the youngest squad in the country’s history for any international match. Apart from the fact that all speak Kinyarwanda and can sing the national anthem with ease, the majority of players are products of the U-17, U-20 and U-23 teams.Micho named a 20-man squad which is comprised of only five senior players, namely Jean Claude Ndoli, Evariste Mutuyimana, Ismail Nshutiyamagara, Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza and Jean Claude Iranzi. The rest are young players with no more than five caps.Meanwhile, Namibia’s Brave Warriors have been dealt a blow by the unavailability of top players Tangeni Shipahu and Lazarus Kaimbi for Saturday’s game.Brave Warriors coach Bernard Kaanjuka decided not to call up Shipahu and Kaimbi, who both played for their club Osotspa in the Thai Premier League on Wednesday night.Namibia and Rwanda will meet again on November 11 in Kigali at Stade Amahoro in another friendly international.
