Fast-rising musician Nel Ngabo has described the support that his music lovers showed him during Saturday’s concert in Montreal, Canada, as ‘surreal’ and one of a kind experience of his music career so far.

The singer, who was performing at a foreign country for the first time, had an epic performance during which the enthusiasm and the way revelers sang each of his songs along helped him discover how far his music has reached across the globe.

"I was blown away by the energy they showed during the concert. To see people showing support and love to my music on that stage is something I can’t take for granted. I am sure I will be back for yet another show [in Canada],” he told The New Times.

While performing many of his most popular songs including ‘Nzahinduka’, ‘Fresh’, ‘Joli’, ‘Byakoroha’ and ‘Nywe’ among many songs on his playlist, the singer created a moving atmosphere inside a fully-packed Union Française de Montreal that left everyone dancing and singing along.

To the singer, the presence of the Rwandan community in Canada at his show in big numbers left him not only motivated but also feel like he owes them one show anytime in the future.

"I thank everyone who showed up, the venue was full and that was so motivating. While I am not surprised that they know all my songs, I and my management witnessed the atmosphere that we never imagined. I owe them one more concert, or so, sooner or later,” he said.

The singer also performed Buravan’s song ‘Oya’ as tribute to the late singer who succumbed to pancreatic cancer three weeks ago.
