It’s that time of the year again…and no, we’re not talking about the December holidays, we’re talking about great bashes happening this weekend.Whether you’re in Kigali or in the countryside – whether you’re a party animal, karaoke fan or concertgoer – this weekend seems to have an option for everyone. And as an added bonus, there is also a gospel concert for Christians and people who enjoy sacred music.Jay Polly @ Top ChefThis Sunday, you can prefer to end the weekend with some pop. At Top Chef Restaurant in Nyabugogo, hip-hop king, Jay Polly will be performing from 7p.m.He will team up with other musicians, P-Fla, Eric Senderi, Lil-G, Dashim and Ally-G. The concert, dubbed ‘Ndacyariho Ndahumeka’, goes for Rwf1,000.TBB in Musanze district TBB group will be in Musanze District today for a concert that will be held at Volcano Night Club.Other artistes expected to perform include, Fireman, Jack B, Allioni, Charly, Lil G,King Patience, and Uganda’s Nico MP. Entrance fee is Rwf1, 500.Comedy Knights @ NURThey started it and they’re still running it. Today, the ‘Comedy Knights’ take their jokes to the National University of Rwanda (NUR). Doors open at 8p.m. Entrance fee is Rwf1, 000. The comedians expected to perform include, Herve Kimenyi, Arthur Nkusi, Mike Sengazi, Robert Niyonkuru, famous for his stage name Rob, John Mugara and George Murungi aka Babu.The event will also feature some of your favourite artistes, such as Uncle Austin, TBB, Danny, Bruce Melody and Ricky.Gospel Night @ Contact RestaurantLocal gospel artistes Bobo Bonfils, Yves Cyubahiro and Gaby Kamanzi are set to stage a free concert at Contact Restaurant, starting from 6p.m.Urban Boyz @ Quelque PartUrban Boyz will perform to their fans at Quelque Part in Kigali City, from 7p.m. The group will be joined by female rapper Young Grace and a few other musicians.Entrance fee is Rwf1, 000 each.Karaoke @ The Manor HotelToday, if you want to have some fun while singing, join Carol Nderitu at The Manor Hotel in Nyarutarama for another night of karaoke.  Nderitu will be accompanied by the Kigali Kings of Karaoke (KKK), with the drinks at happy hour prices. What’s more, for every two bottles you buy, there will be one free offer on all drinks at O’Connell’s Bar during the entire Karaoke Night. It all starts at 7p.mAgDF Concert @ Serena & Expo GroundsAs you might all know, every Rwandan is up and about helping in the development of the country by contributing to the Agaciro Development Fund (AgDF).This weekend, over 40 Rwandan musicians are staging two concerts that will raise money for the Fund. On Saturday, the musicians will be performing at the Expo Grounds in Gikondo for Rwf5,000 and Rwf2,000 for VIP and ordinary tickets, respectively.Orchestre Impala, Orchestre Ingeri international, Jay Polly, Riderman, Knowles, Urban Boys, Dream Boys, Kamichi are among the musicians lined up for the concert. It starts at 5p.m.On Sunday, it will be at Kigali Serena Hotel and this will be a special one as they will perform live music throughout the evening. Entrance to this one is Rwf10,000.The show will feature various artistes, among others, Mani Martin, Shanel, Patrick Nyamitali, Samputu, Inganzo Ngari and Indangamirwa. The performances begin at 6p.m. Smirnoff Experience @ Bamboo RestaurantParty animals are in for a special treat today. Bamboo Restaurant in town (T200 building after Kigali City Tower) is home to a party, "Smirnoff Experience Mashup”, where a Smirnoff bottle goes for Rwf1,000 only.DJ Esggy will be behind the machines, while entrance is Rwf5, 000 (singles) and Rwf3, 000 (couples).  The party starts at 9p.m. Dress to impress.
